Review : Stepping Over the Line by Laura Marie Altom

***ARC Provided by the Author for an Honest Review***

Stepping over the line by Laura Marie Altom is the first novel that I have had the privilege of reading by this author and I have to admit I really did enjoy it.

This wasn’t one of the usual down and dirty stepbrother novels that I have read previously, it was one that touched on the taboo side of it. To say I found this refreshing was an understatement.

In the book you meet Garrett and Savannah Marsden, brother and sister, but only by marriage. When Garrett was fourteen years old his father marries Savannah’s mother but he finds himself instantly attracted to her. Because of the fact that their parents were now married, he believes that there can never be anything more between them.

Fast forward to Savannah’s graduation dinner and subsequent doctors internship, and Garrett discovers that the attraction is mutual. Savannah, using her intoxication as bravery, consummates that attraction in a moment of lust. That one moment will throw her life into a turmoil she could have never of anticipated.

What happens next is a variety of twists and turns that sees you thinking that you know how it will end, only to find out that the author has other plans.

Will Savannah and Garrett end up together, well that you will have to read the book to discover. This one I would highly recommend as it is not your typical romance read. It has the ability to keep you on your toes and hanging on until the very end.

For me this is a five star read
