Review : Against the Wall by Tracy Burke

‘Against The Wall’ is the first book I have read by Tracy Burke and I also hadn’t read the blurb so I kind of went into this book blind. I was quite pleased with what I read and couldn’t put the book down once I started and am rating it 4 stars.

Colton is young, toned, sexy and desperate for work. He has spent days and days trolling the streets in attempt to find work to make up his share of the rent as his best friend and flatmate Mason can no longer keep him.

The only option he has of earning instant cash appears to be in answering an ad to be a male escort. Not thrilled by the idea but feeling like he has run out of options Colton applies and is given a job. He has to figure out what to do to get the big bucks and it would seem the best way to do that is to date men. Unfortunately Colton is straight and doesn’t feel comfortable doing that but it is something he might need to do.

I instantly warmed to Colton and loved how easy it was reading his story. The book is kind of written in a mixture of first person point of view mixed with a third person narrative. Believe me it works and you find yourself smiling and chuckling at some parts of the book. It is a quick read and I was disappointed when it finished as I wanted to read more and find out more about his dates and what he does.

It’s a quick, sexy and explicit read that I want more of so will be looking out for future books in this series.
