Review : Charmingly Yours by Liz Talley

***ARC Provided by the Author for an Honest Review***

Charmingly Yours by Liz Talley starts with a tragedy that has our lead female Rosemary Reynolds re-evaluating her life in Morning Glory, a small, southern town in Mississippi. When an opportunity arises for Rosemary to apartment sit for her cousin in So-Ho, she decides to take the chance and experience life.

When Rosemary chance meets Sal Genovese in front of his family’s restaurant she decides to take a chance and enjoy her two weeks exploring her new surroundings, and her new friend.

For Sal, being a part of an Italian family means responsibility and expectation. His parents want him to settle down and marry a nice Italian girl, raise a family and become a part of the family business. Unfortunately, for them, Sal wants more, he wants the chance to fall in love and make his own way.
When he meets Rosemary, memories of a failed engagement and past mistakes threaten to cloud his judgement. Well, that and a nosy family.

This is a beautiful love story of two people who battle the expectations and pressures of family, so that they can break free to live their lives as they want.

I fell in love with the story, as it showcased the pressure we can feel from what our parents / family expect of us and how we should live our lives.

Yes, there are sex scenes, but they are tasteful and you will get a good giggle at one scene that involves a set of stairs, a game and an unexpected visitor at the top!!

A great read and for me this is a five star rating, I loved it.
