Title: Four Weddings and a Fiasco
Author: Catherine Ferguson
Writing: funny, charismatic
Violence: none

Catherine Ferguson's new novel Four Weddings and a Fiasco is a delightful addition to someone's summer reading.  If you're a fan of a good hearted romantic comedy, with a wedding or four added in.

Katy Peacock just so happens to be a wedding photographer.  Her business has had its rough patch for the last couple of years. Ever since she took money from her then boyfriend, he's determined to get his money back. No matter the cost. And for Katy it's harder to get the money ever since her business partner, her sister left. But Katy doesn't let that stop her. She finds work through a series of weddings. Four of them to be exact.

While on the job, Katy can't help to meet the handsome and very charismatic Gabe.  And for Katy she can't help but fall in love with him. But Gabe has his own problems, and one can be only said by one word: Ex.

Not only did I love the characters Catherine brought to life. I loved the structure of it. The pace she set throughout the pages with how she divided it. She divided it through a series of parts. Each wedding was its own main event through the book. I enjoyed how it gave the reader better focus on the dialogue and the season for the characters. It gives a better understanding to Katy to her clients. And their relationships. And gives you a better enjoyment in how they shaped her life. And helped her grow by the end of the book.
The dialogue was well written. It made the situations the characters had to go through more realistic. The conversations between Katy and her mother, and her struggle to reconnect with her sister is heartbreaking. How hard it's for Gabe to connect to women after what his next did to him.  Every struggle everyone can relate to them. And I wholeheartedly enjoyed Four Weddings and a Fiasco.

I give  Four Weddings and a Fiasco, a four star rating. Check out Catherine's latest novel. And I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
