Review : Wait by A.L. Jackson

A.L. Jackson is an author that you must read, she has a way of making you feel connected to the characters by tugging at your heart, making you feel every emotion that the character goes through as well as making your pulse race with the steamier parts of her books. Whenever she releases a book it is a must read for me but when you are so invested in a series it is hard not to be a little apprehensive as well as excited and that is exactly how I was feeling before starting this book. However there was no need for the apprehension as she has produced another winner with ‘Wait’ (Bleeding Stars #4). This can be read as a standalone, if you haven't read the other books you will be able to get plenty from this book to love.

This book revolves around Austin and Edie, two broken souls who might just be able to give into each other in this second chance romance. We get to know what this couple have been through and what they meant (mean) to each other by a series of flashbacks. Also we find out the mistakes that were made, the guilt and the hurt caused followed by forgiveness and the hope and strength they give to each other. A love story of epic proportion about two characters that were made for each other.

Told from both points of view allowing you to feel for the characters more and connect with them a little better. It’s an emotional read that will have you laughing, crying and feeling the heartache along with the characters. I can’t recommend this book and series enough and I can’t give it anything other than five stars. I loved this book.
