‘Not Quite Perfect’ is the fifth book in the ‘Not Quite Series’ by Catherine Bybee but is a standalone novel. This is instalment is definitely a swoon worthy read that gives you everything you look for in a romance and more, 4 great stars.

Mary and Glen are complete opposites that live very different kinds of lives but that only allows for him to sweep her off her feet even more. Mary is very independent and relies on no one but herself to provide her with the things she needs in life and that isn’t about to change anytime soon. Although, there is great banter and chemistry between Mary and Glen.

Glen is the playboy pilot that can easily sweep a woman off her feet but somehow Mary rebuffs his advances and that entices him even more. When she relents he takes on the first date that you couldn’t even dream of and things take off from there.

There are a lot of obstacles such as timing and distance but is that enough to keep them apart. There is a few twists and turns that you won’t quite see coming that make the story that bit more gripping of a read. The characters are really likeable and the story flows really well making you not want to put it down. Overall a great romance read.
