Review : Tempting Tristan by Melissa Foster

Tempting Tristan: Tristan Brewer (Harborside Nights #3; Love in Bloom #57)

‘Tempting Tristan’ by Melissa Foster is the third book in the ‘Harborside Nights’ series but was the first book I had read in the series and can be read as a standalone novel. It must be said that it will not be for everyone as it is a male on male romance but I absolutely loved it, 5 awesome stars.

Tristan Brewer is intending on taking time to recover from a bad relationship by steering clear of men. Tristan is sexy, sweet and will definitely have you swooning after him but his past relationship had really taken its toll and he needs time to heal. Those plans however are all but forgotten the moment Alex walks into his life.

Alex Wells is fresh out the army following being injured and spending a long time recovering in hospital. The only real family he was close to was his grandmother who sadly passed away while he was in hospital meaning he couldn’t make the funeral either. Never fully feeling like he was accepted and that he could be truthful about his sexuality Alex has a lot of baggage and hurt that he carries around. What he craves is love and acceptance.

There is an instant connection between these two that develops into some hot reading. Alex and Tristan are absolutely brilliant together, it is only when he is with Tristan does Alex feel like the person he wants to be and is deep down but he has many internal demons to fight. Tristan deserves to have a man that can love him and be open about it and that should and could be Alex. Both these men are incredibly hot, sweet and sexy. Reading their story gets emotional at bits as we go through their struggles with them but it is also steamy which I loved.

I truly recommend reading this book as it is one that will not only keep you entertained and not wanting to put it down until you finish but it will also stay with you.
