Review : Size Matters by Alison Bliss

***ARC Provided by the Author for an Honest Review***

Size Matters by Alison Bliss was a hilariously funny book about what happens when a man try to defend a girl he barely knows from an overbearing mother.

Our leading lady Leah is a plus size girl who is constantly criticized by her mother. Our leading man Sam hasn’t had the best luck in relationships and isn’t looking to jump into another one. Except his mouth gets the better of him, getting him into the kind of trouble that’s hard to escape from. That’s what happens when he tries to defend Leah in front of her mother and kind of tells her they are engaged.

This is a light tale about Leah and Sam and how they at first, put on a show for Leah’s family to it leading to so much more.

But can Leah believe that the attention Sam is showing her is for real. I mean how can a hot as hell guy fall for a girl a little on the round side? That’s what insecurity can do to a person, and poor Leah is no exception.

I loved the humor with this story, and yes, the whole poor me thing with Leah was tedious at times, but Alison makes up for it by keeping us laughing throughout the whole book.

Great story, fantastic author.

This is a four-star read for me.
