Review : Claiming The Billionaire by J.M. Stewart

‘Claiming  The Billionaire’ by J.M. Stewart was a great read but really what’s not to love about a billionaire second chance romance with fun and feisty characters, 4 stars.

I hadn’t read of the previous ‘Seattle Bachelors’ stories but that didn’t seem to matter when reading and enjoying this book. If the whole billionaire aspect is something you don’t enjoy don’t worry as it is not that much of a prominent aspect in this book as you’d think because of the title, it is more of a background thing.

Cassie and Tyler have major baggage that has an effect on their relationship but neither stopped loving the other even after years apart but it isn’t easy for Cassie to open up and let Tyler back in especially considering she has mourned him. Even though Cassie thought Tyler was dead she still had this smidgen of hope tucked away in her heart that he would come back but even with that hope it is difficult for her to trust him.

Tyler, however, is determined to win Cassie back even if Cassie isn’t he is and he is going after what he wants and needs which is her. What I didn’t expect from this book was the storyline of How Tyler has to come to terms with being a prisoner of war and the PTSD that it has left him with. I thoroughly enjoyed that aspect as it was really well written. Throughout it was interesting getting to know Cassie and Tyler and watch as they got to know one another again.

This was an entertaining read that has given me another author to add to my list and go back and read again. There are some bits that are emotional but the story is worth reading.
