Angsty with a splash of mystery!  A true Melody Anne formula!

‘Turbulent Waters’ is the third instalment of the Billionaire Aviators series by Melody Anne.  I have read previous series by this author but as far as this series goes, this is the first one.  You do not have to read any of the previous stories to understand what is happening in Turbulent Waters, although your interest does become piqued as Melody Anne pulls those characters in throughout the book.  I am very interested in reading their stories as well.

This book follows Chloe Reynolds, who is a Physical Therapist hired to help Nick Armstrong recover from injuries he received from a tragic accident.  Nick is a stubborn and cocky pilot who doesn’t think he needs the intensive therapy but also believes he can charm his new therapist and Chloe is determined to keep Nick at a safe distance...because she isn’t only there to rehabilitate him.

Only time will tell if they will be able to overcome the hidden secrets that are keeping them from what could be forever.

I enjoy female leads who stand up to the cocky male characters.  The back and forth between Nick and Chloe is fantastic, even making me laugh in a couple places.  There was enough angst to give me butterflies and I couldn’t wait for them to be able to move on to an HEA.

Not only were the main characters great, but Nick’s brothers and sisters-in-law were well developed as well.  When you read a Melody Anne book you become invested in the whole family, it doesn’t just stop at one book.  I am looking forward to book 4!

I am giving Turbulent Waters 4 stars.
