The Playboy Bachelor by Rachel Van Dyken is a second chance love story of sorts. Margot and Bentley were best friends and Margot was in love with him, but Bentley was a man-whore and Margot didn't think she was his type so she stayed in the friend zone. After a tragic accident takes Margot's family from her she needs her friend, but Bentley walks away. When Bentley and Margot's match-making grandparents devise a plan to get their grand children married. When Bentley is bought in an auction to Margot's grandmother for her grand daughter for a month. The two are pushed together and try to make the best of it. They have a relationship that is pretty open. They argue, banter back and forth, have hilarious conversations and they have a friendly comfort to them. When feelings get stronger for both of them they fight it.
This was a strongly written story about feelings, friendship, and family. A slow-burn romance at it's finest.
